Belgrade Metropolitan University, Open University of the Netherlands and Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Science, organized Sixth International Conference on eLearning 2015, held from September 22-23, 2015 at Belgrade Metropolitan University, Belgrade, Serbia.
At the beginning with the words of welcome and presentation about importance of eLearning Conference, attendees were addressed by Rector of the Metropolitan University, Professor Dragan Domazet. After his welcome speech, Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development Ms. Danijela Šćepanović, who officially opened the Conference, emphasized the importance of using eLearning system in Serbia.
The conference brought together experts in field of eLearning from various countries. They shared their experience, presented new developments in this field, and also discussed about innovative methods in the field of eLearning.
The Conference was focused on:
- technical concepts,
- instructional design and
- pedagogical/psychological aspects of eLearning.
This year, main topics were Design and development of online courses, Use of learning objects, Mobile learning technology, Personalized learning, Gamification of learning, Massive open online courses, while panel discussion topic was “Modern trends in eLearning”.
The importance of Conference was emphasized by impressive key note presentations of eminent professors from Germany, Estonia and Croatia, as well as other presentations from Denmark, SAD, Israel, Italy, the countries in the region and Serbia.
