Belgrade Metropolitan University and Open University of the Netherlands organized the Eleventh International Conference on eLearning (eLearning-2020 Conference) held on September 24-25, 2020 at Belgrade Metropolitan University, Belgrade, Serbia. The Conference was organized in online form, through Google Meet platform, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictive measures and closed borders.
The conference brought together experts in the field of eLearning from 8 countries, including the countries from the region. They shared their experiences, presented new developments in this field, as well as discussed innovative methods in the field of eLearning.
Last year the Conference focused on:
- technical concepts of eLearning,
- instructional design of eLearning,
- pedagogical / psychological aspects of eLearning.
President of Metropolitan University, Professor Dragan Domazet, at the beginning welcomed attendees and officially opened the Conference via Google Meet platform.
Metropolitan University was the first in the region to start teaching distance education, when in 2005 it received a license from the Ministry of Education, thanks to state-of-the-art technologies it applies. This method of learning resulted in a unique program of advanced academic and professional studies.
The Twelfth International Conference on eLearning (eLearning-2021 Conference) will be held on September 23-24, 2021. We are looking forward to our next meeting and hearing about new achievements in the field.
